Apparently Zoo Weekly has an idea.
According to local news reports Australian magazine for men is running a competition with a very odd prize. The main prize is a free divorce.
The competition will allow one disgruntled husband to “unleash themselves back to bachelor hood”.
Zoo Weekly announced that their £5,000 divorce package includes lawyers fees, court costs - and a divorce party with pin-up girls. But that’s not all. There is also a three-tiered divorce cake, a cleaner for two months, a plasma TV, Play station 3 and a year’s subscription to Zoo.
Zoo editor Paul Merrill said the divorce competition was the perfect way for a reader to “win back their freedom.” Apparently thousands of men feel the same. News reports say there were thousands of entries received for what the magazine described as “the most romantic gift of all”.

A cigarette store cashier has snuffed out a robbery. Police said a masked man flashed a knife at the Cigarette Outlet on Friday and forced one employee to the floor, then demanded money from another worker, Ruth Wright.
Instead of cash, Wright threw two cans of chewing tobacco at the robber, and one hit him in the face.
Officers said a customer then tackled the man, but the robber broke free and bolted out the door.
A cashier, Kittie Peacock, said the store had been robbed at least once before.

An 85-year-old legally blind golfer from southern Arizona made a hole-in-one this week on a par-3 course. Robert Dunham accomplished the feat on the third hole at Tortuga in Green Valley.
Playing with a group of fellow blind veterans enrolled in a Veterans Affairs health care system program, Dunham’s volunteer assistant lined him up with the ball, handed him a 9-iron and stepped back.
Dunham swung through the ball, hit it squarely and it landed softly on the green, taking one hop before nestling into the bottom of the cup.
Dunham’s group erupted into a cacophony of cheers and high-fives.
The World War II vet’s first reaction?
“I thought they were kidding me,” Dunham said. “I told them, ‘You guys better not be pulling my leg.’”
The retired Honeywell manager began losing his vision about 10 years ago, but has been in the VA program for only three weeks.
